Mulled Wine Recipe

Kristin and I made this last weekend and it was simply delicious.
1 bottle of red wine (we used a cabernet sauvignon that I stole from my parents)
2 cups of apple cider (we used apple juice)
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 large pinch of nutmeg
1 apple, sliced or cubed to simmer with the wine and apple cider
1 large spoonful of honey (you can use sugar, too)
Put all the ingredients in some sort of metal container on the stove. Keep the stove top on low and let simmer. Don’t let it come to boil! Then, simply pour into your classiest drinking object and enjoy!
This recipe is super flexible, you can also add in orange peels or slices, more or less honey/sugar/cinnamon: basically, customize this to your own taste buds and enjoy! Tschüß!
